This laser collimator is very accurate and achieves in seconds what would take hours using a standard collimator. The collimator allows for image focusing to be a one step procedure, rather than having to go back and forth between the telescop and the collimator.

The Orion LaserMate Deluxe is constructed from anodized aluminum housing. Unlike other laser collimators, the Orion Laser Collimator allows you to see both the emitted and reflected laser beams, all while standing behind the telescope.

Adjusting the device is simply a matter of tweaking the screws until the laser beams overlap in the center. The Orion LaserMate Deluxe is 4″ long, fits a 1.25″ eyepiece holder, includes a battery and instructions. The device also comes backed by a one-year limited warranty!
